Dry Thai Massage
Benefit For Massage
Dry Thai massage, also known as traditional Thai massage, is an ancient healing practice that combines acupressure, Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga postures. Unlike other forms of massage, it is performed without oils and with the recipient fully clothed. The practitioner uses their hands, elbows, knees, and feet to apply deep pressure and stretch the body in various ways, enhancing flexibility, reducing tension, and promoting relaxation.
This therapeutic technique typically takes place on a padded mat on the floor, allowing for a wide range of movements. The practitioner guides the recipient through a series of postures and rhythmic compressions along the body’s energy lines, known as “Sen.” Benefits include improved circulation, increased energy levels, and relief from stress and muscle pain. Dry Thai massage is a holistic approach to wellness, aiming to balance the body, mind, and spirit through mindful, purposeful touch and movement.
